KECK’S ROAD PROJECT
JATON LLC has commenced preliminary engineering on its Kecks Solar Energy Facility Project.
The Kecks Road Project is a 2 MW(AC) renewable energy solar farm situated on a 10-acre parcel in Lost Hills, in Kern County, California. The solar energy generated by the Kecks Road Facility will serve approximately 1,000-homes.
The solar energy generated from the Kecks Road Facility will be transmitted into the California Electrical Grid via Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) infrastructure. The Kecks Road Facility’s energy will add to California’s renewable energy supply portfolio and assist in reaching Governor Brown’s goal of 50% renewable energy use in California by 2030.
JATON’s Kecks Road Project expects to execute a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) via PG&E’s Regional Renewable Choice Program in 4Q 2019, and is scheduled to complete construction and begin delivering solar power in 3Q 2020.
